We carved our pumpkins that we got at the pumpkin patch in Utah. The kids were so excited and had been asking every day if we could do it. The weather here in Phoenix doesn't really preserve your jack-o-lanterns, so they were completely moldy a day and a half later. We've learned since we moved here that pumpkin carving is an event that has to happen twice a season! Who could wait till the 30th anyway?!
After Jack's pumpkin got cleaned out he kept putting the guts back in. It really wasn't that much fun without all the gross stuff!
