HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT! Nothing beats a Super Bowl Sunday Birthday! Food, Family, Friends, Football! We had a really fun weekend. Starting Friday night when we went down to Glendale to check out the Super Bowl Experience. We didn't pay all the money, but we did get to see John Elway! Nate couldn't figure out why we weren't coming back for the game. We went and walked through Cabella's too... you just can't get that close and not go in according to the Smith kids. Saturday night we went out with some friends (and not kids) and traveled to the town of Wickenburg for dinner at Anita's Cocina and a movie at the local single screen. Good thing they were playing something we wanted to see!!! It was The Bucket List and we really liked it. We only go to a movie about once a year, so I guess that took care of 2008. Sunday the kids made Matt breakfast in bed and with our ward splitting that day, Matt got the best present... 8:00 church! He almost stood up and clapped when they announced that. Then we watched football and ate dinner and cake and icecream with the Balls. It was a fun day.

Matt, welcome to your 30's. Perhaps now you'll know just how it feels to be THIS old :). Happy birthday!
Happy Birthday Uncle Matt!!!
I will always be older than you.....
Happy 30! Sounds like you guys had a fun party!
Happy b-day, old man Smith. Time to start waving your fist with a scowl at the youngsters causing a ruckus playing stickball in the street.
You'll get used to walking with a cane.
